For more than 20 years Fun 4 Kidz has been keeping 1,000 children a week in Sefton, Liverpool, occupied to help their parents get back into work or access training.
The charity was set up in 1998 in Netherton but expanded over the years to include breakfast, holiday and after-school clubs.
They even took on the lease of the L30 Community Centre in Netherton because it faced closure so that the community could run craft, yoga and photography clubs from there.
All that hard work was put at risk when Covid-19 struck, as, without any grant funding, their income dried up.
The Steve Morgan Foundation stepped in to provide a grant of £22,903 to cover three months costs and ensure the charity can adapt and continue delivering its services during such a difficult time.
